Origin
Diamonds without extraction
Every Astrea stone is grown, not mined. No riverbed is diverted, no landscape displaced, no community disrupted to bring it into being — and its journey from seed to setting is documented at every step.

- Our 18K gold and platinum come from refiners working with recycled material and audited supply chains.
- Considered packaging
- Presentation cases and shipping materials are FSC-certified, plastic-free and made to be kept.
- Made to order
- We produce to order rather than to stock, which removes waste and unsold inventory from the equation.
- Built to be repaired
- Cleaning, polishing, rhodium renewal and stone tightening are offered for life: the least wasteful piece is the one worn for decades.
Transparency
Verifiable, not asserted
Sustainability claims mean little without proof. Each centre stone carries an IGI / GIA report you can verify with the laboratory yourself, our precious metals are hallmarked to UK standards, and Astrea London is a registered Assay Assured Jewellery Retailer.

Giving back is one of the core values of Maison Astrea — a deeply held commitment that began long before the Maison itself.
For more than fifteen years, our founder, Nathalie Morrison, together with her family and children, has supported Sumbandila, returning year after year.
Based in rural Limpopo, South Africa, Sumbandila provides education, mentorship and opportunity to exceptional young people from deeply underprivileged backgrounds. Over the years, Sumbandila has helped support more than 300 children.
At the heart of this commitment is a simple belief: education is power.
As Maison Astrea grows, so too should its capacity to create opportunity. A percentage of Astrea's profits is dedicated to supporting education and helping young people build futures that circumstance might otherwise have placed beyond their reach.
Our belief in possibility extends beyond jewellery. Lab-grown diamonds are extraordinary not only for their beauty, but for their potential. Maison Astrea is committed to supporting research into their future medical applications — exploring how this remarkable material might one day contribute to advances that transform and save lives.
From our Founder
Sumbandila has been part of my life and my family's life for more than fifteen years. My children and I return year after year, and I have had the privilege of seeing first-hand what becomes possible when a young person is given an opportunity.
I believe deeply that education is power. It gives a young person choices, independence and the possibility to shape their own future. And its impact reaches far beyond one life — into families, communities and generations to come.
When I founded Maison Astrea, I knew that this belief would be at its heart. As the Maison grows, I want our ability to create opportunity for others to grow with it. For me, that is one of the most meaningful expressions of luxury.
